Gold prices rise by Rs2,900 per tola in Pakistan

The price of 24-karat gold saw a significant increase of Rs2,900 per tola, reaching Rs280,800 on Wednesday, up from Rs277,900 in the previous trading session, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also experienced a rise of Rs2,487, moving from Rs238,254 to Rs240,741. Similarly, the price of 10-gram 22-karat gold increased to Rs220,679 from Rs218,400.

In contrast, the prices of silver remained unchanged. The price for one tola of silver stayed at Rs3,350, while the price for 10 grams of silver remained constant at Rs2,872.08.
On the international front, gold prices saw a decrease, dropping by $29 to $2,690 per ounce, down from $2,661. Despite the international drop, domestic prices in Pakistan continued to rise, reflecting the local market dynamics.
